NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Town Board
of the Town of North Harmony, on June 8, 2009 adopted a
resolution pursuant to Town Law §209-b
authorizing a contract with Tolman Engineering, PLLC in an
amount not to exceed $30,000.00 for the preparation of a map,
plan and report in connection with a proposed sewer district
along Route 394 and Chautauqua Lake southwest shore.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT the Town Board of the Town
of North Harmony, on June 8, 2009 adopted a resolution pursuant
to Town Law §209-b authorizing a contract with Kucera
International, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $29,235.00 for
the enhancement of the Aerial Photo and Lidar Survey.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT the aforesaid Resolutions
were adopted subject to permissive referendum.
The Transfer Station
IS OPEN FROM 9
to 3 ON SATURDAYS ONLY. (SUMMER HOURS 8
- 3:00) Stickers are required.
Restricted to and paid for by town taxpayers.
THE TRANSFER STATION WILL BE
OPEN ON JULY 4TH FROM 7:00-11:00AM
BRUSH AND ORGANIC YARD WASTE (NO COMMERCIAL OR TREES) WILL BE
ACCEPTED AT THE TRANSFER STATION ON THE 2ND SATURDAY OF THE MONTH
DURING REGULAR STATION HOURS. STICKER REQUIRED.

- TIRE AMNESTY
JULY 1 - 13, 2009
(or until the limit of 650 tires)
AT THE HIGHWAY BUILDING
THE TOWN OF NORTH HARMONY WILL HOLD TIRE AMNESTY SPONSORED BY
THE CHAUT. CO. DPF ON THE DATES LISTED ABOVE.
Only tires 19" or less will be accepted.
Only tires with rims removed and free of debris and water will
be accepted.
Limit of 10 tires per household
ABSOLUTELY NO COMMERCIAL BUSINESSES MAY DISPOSE OF TIRES AT
AMNESTY
- CENSUS 2010 - Sometime between April & July,2009,
U.S. Census employees will be visiting every home in our
community to conduct the 2010 taking of the Census.
Please Participate!! This information plays a very
important part in our government representation at all
levels.
