Collection Tax Bills for 2015
County/Town Tax Collection were mailed on 1/5/2015.
Collection begins on 1/12/15. Following is the payment
2/10/15 0% penalty 2/11/15 to
2/28/15 1% penalty 3/1/15 to 4/1/15
2% penalty After 4/1/15 taxes must be paid at the County
Equipment Recycling and Reuse Act
§27-2611 - Effective January 1, 2015
prohibits all persons from placing or disposing of any
electronic waste (i.e. computers, TV's, small electronic
equipment, etc.) in the trash. These items must be
recycled. Listed below is information on where they may
be disposed of: Ellery Landfill (716)985-5980; Sherman, West
County Transfer Station (716)761-6565; Falconer, South County
Transfer Station (716)665-6894; 2nd Chances Humane Society
Thrift Store (716)664-4504. You may wish to contact these
providers prior to bringing your items to determine what they
accept and what they do not.

TOWN OF NORTH HARMONY VETERAN'S
The Town of
North Harmony is in the process of raising funds to build a
Veteran's Memorial to be located in Veteran's Park, Ashville.

Point to Stow Ferry is available at the Town of North Harmony
Offices for $20.00. If you wish to have a copy mailed the
cost will be $20.00 plus $4.00 postage/handling. For
multiple copy mailings or if you have questions contact the

Draft Comprehensive Plan
Lighthouse Park Tribute Blocks
In 2006 many residents and visitors were invited to participate
in the town's tribute walkway at Lighthouse Park adjacent to the
Stow Ferry by purchasing a 12x12" tribute block. The
blocks were removed from the walkway for preservation purposes
and have been reset into the Lighthouse Pavilion wall.
Once again the town would like to offer the opportunity to
purchase these blocks to residents, visitors, businesses, etc.
The cost for a block is: $135 for individuals and $260
for businesses. Some of the blocks are included in the
